Declarations of conformity
Strict national and international guidelines also apply to the processing and marketing of our products.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the following declarations apply to the products we offer:
REACH (EC 1907/2006)
Our articles are manufactured goods and are therefore only indirectly affected by the current status of REACH (EC 1907/2006). There is no obligation to pre-register or register these products. The registration obligation lies with our raw material suppliers. We therefore expect all suppliers of our raw materials to pre-register and register the substances they supply, and we currently assume that the raw materials will continue to be available to us for our products in the future.With reference to the chemical substances listed in the current ECHA checklist, we can confirm that no SVHC substances (Substances of Very High Concern for Authorization) with a mass fraction of > 0.1% are intentionally processed in our production processes.
We do not test our products for these substances, but based on our knowledge of raw materials, chemical reactions, and processes involved in manufacturing our products, their presence is not expected.
Please note that lead-containing substances and other substances present in the environment prior to the installation of the sealing material could invalidate this confirmation.
RoHS (EU 2015/863/EU)
We declare that, to the best of our knowledge, our products do not contain any substances whose use in products is prohibited under RoHS.This ensures compliance with EC directives restricting the use of certain hazardous substances (RoHS).
However, since the items are not manufactured in a clean room, the presence of ubiquitous traces of undesirable substances can never be completely ruled out.
It is the customer's responsibility to decide whether their specific formulation and intended use meets the applicable conditions and is suitable for the intended application.

PAH
PAHs are not part of the material formulations and are not intentionally added to the materials. PAHs can be produced during the manufacture of carbon black (fillers) or certain plasticizers and can enter the material in this way. Many black elastomer compounds filled with carbon black may therefore contain small amounts of PAHs.The various categories for PAH limit values are based on the use of the products. The lowest limit values apply to products with foreseeable mouth contact or toys and are based on the length of foreseeable skin contact.
Our seals are designed for industrial use and are not normally classified as materials for contact/grip and operating surfaces.
In general, our mixture suppliers confirm the limit values according to ZEK 01.4-08 Category 3.
In individual cases, we can request these values from the factory. If necessary, tests may have to be carried out at your expense. If the requirements for the seals actually require lower limit values, we can request these accordingly based on your requirements.
Conflict materials
We confirm that no tantalum, tin, gold, or tungsten is intentionally used or incorporated into our products made from NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, PTFE, VMQ, HNBR, or AEM during the manufacturing process. TSCA
We have asked our mixture suppliers to review their materials and send us their confirmations of compliance with the final rules published by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Section 6(h) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) for five persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic (PBT) chemicals:- decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE) (CAS No. 1163–19–5)
- phenol, isopropylated phosphate (3:1) (PIP (3:1)) (CAS No. 68937–41–7)
- 2,4,6-Tris(tert-butyl)phenol (2,4,6-TTBP) (CAS No. 732-26-3)
- hexachlorobutadiene (HCBD) (CAS No.87–68–3)
- pentachlorothiophenol (PCTP) (CAS No.133-49-3).
This confirmation is based on statements from our producers, who are responsible for the composition of the mixture and the chemical components it contains. None of the above-mentioned substances are used or added during handling and storage.
We would like to point out that the presence of traces of harmful substances, e.g. due to minute impurities or environmental influences, cannot be completely ruled out in the products.
