AU/EU / Polyurethane (polyester urethane)
Polyurethane elastomers are characterized by particularly high tensile strength, good tear resistance, and abrasion resistance.

EPDM (APTK) / Ethylene propylene diene rubber
Polymer made from ethylene, propylene, and a small amount of a diene.

EPM is weather, ozone, and UV resistant. It is characterized by good swelling resistance in acids, bases, and steam.

Graphite
Graphite is a highly resistant material that is frequently used due to its wide range of media resistance properties. HDPE / Hard PE / High Density Polyethylene
HDPE / polyethylene is a high-density thermoplastic. HDPE has good chemical resistance, excellent processing properties, is suitable for use in the food industry, and has very good sliding properties. HDPE is cost-effective and suitable for long-term use.
Depending on the PE quality, areas of application include the chemical and food industries, apparatus and mechanical engineering, and the automotive industry.

HNBR / Hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber
Similar chemical properties to NBR, but with significantly higher heat resistance and better weather resistance. HNBR has low vapor and gas permeability and is resistant to mineral oils, ozone, and acidic gases.

IIR / Butyl rubber
Elastomer (synthetic rubber) with good resistance to acids and bases. Suitable for animal and vegetable fats and oils, but not for mineral fats and oils. Very good gas impermeability and high electrical insulation capacity. Very weather and ozone resistant.

LDPE / Soft PE / Low Density Polyethylene
Like HDPE, LDPE/polyethylene is a thermoplastic material. LPDE is resistant to many chemicals, acids, and alkalis. LPDE is permeable to gas and water vapor and absorbs hardly any water. Standard colors: natural, black.

Foam rubber
Like cellular rubber, foam rubber is also an extremely soft and supple material. It has a closed outer skin and therefore has excellent resilience. Materials: EPDM, FPM, NBR, CR.
Foam rubber is used for flat gaskets, O-rings, sheets, profiles, round cord, and molded parts.
NBR / Perbunan® / Nitrile butadiene rubber
Polymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile; good swelling resistance in aliphatic hydrocarbons, e.g. propane, butane, gasoline, minerals, light heating oil, and diesel fuel.
Use in the automotive sector, good weather and ozone resistance.

NR/SBR / Para rubber
High-polymer isoprene; high mechanical strength, elasticity, good cold resistance; good resistance to alcohols and water at low temperatures and to bases at low concentrations.

PA, PA 4.6, PA 6, PA 6.6, PA 12 / polyamide
Polyamides in their various forms have high toughness, very good mechanical properties, and excellent sliding behavior. Depending on the type, polyamides also have very different properties. For example, PA 6.6 is hard and inelastic, while PA 12 is soft and elastic.
Areas of application include precision engineering, electrical engineering, plain bearings, and many more.
Numerous versions with different properties are available (changes, e.g., in temperature range, density, and manufacturing method).
PC / Polycarbonate
PC is often used as wind protection (including visors), machine protection glazing, roofing, and vehicle glazing. Due to its transparency, good continuous temperature range, impact resistance, and good electrical insulation properties, PC has a wide range of applications.

PE / Polyethylene
Numerous mixture variants available: PE-LD/low-density polyethylene (LDPE), for example, is soft, elastic, and has a low density. PE-HD/high-density polyethylene (HDPE) offers relatively high rigidity. Other versions have low moisture absorption and/or are physiologically harmless. The areas of application include container, machine, apparatus, and plant construction.

PEEK / polyether ether ketone
PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent sliding properties. It is highly wear-resistant and has a high degree of rigidity. Its outstanding mechanical properties remain intact even under high thermal stress. Its steam sterilizability makes it ideal for use in medical devices.

POM / polyacetate / polyoxymethylene
POM (POM-H/homopolymer, POM-C/copolymer):
Thermoplastic, surprisingly strong, versatile plastic; low moisture absorption; good wear and sliding properties. POM-H: higher density, strength, and hardness, as well as good weldability. POM-C: good thermal and UV resistance, high abrasion resistance.
Temperature range:
POM-C: -50°C to +100°C

PP-H, PP-R, PP-B, PP-F, PP-S / Polypropylene
PP-H (PP homopolymer): resistant to many chemicals; PP-R (PP random copolymer): hard plastic with high impact strength; PP-B (PP block copolymer): excellent insulating properties and particularly durable;
PPP-F/PP-S (PP fire retardant): flame resistant. The continuous operating temperature is +90°C. Areas of application include vehicle, apparatus, and machine construction, electrical engineering, ventilation, and air conditioning technology.

PS / Polystyrene
Polystyrene belongs to the family of styrene polymers such as
SB/styrene-butadiene, SAN/styrene-acrylonitrile, ABS/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, ASA/acrylic ester-styrene-acrylonitrile. The transparent thermoplastic melts easily, is highly flammable, impact-sensitive, UV-sensitive, unstable when exposed to solvents, but physiologically harmless.

PUR foam / PU foam / polyurethane foam
PUR foam is ideal for insulating, cushioning, or shockproof storage of sensitive parts. Due to the versatile production of different foam qualities, the possible applications are very diverse, e.g., in the packaging industry, construction industry, and automotive industry.
PVC, hard PVC, soft PVC / polyvinyl chloride
Thermoplastic PVC is available in hard and soft versions. It is universally applicable, including in container construction, chemical plants, exhaust air systems, electrical engineering, and electroplating. Good chemical resistance and flame retardant. Also available with increased impact resistance and as PVC rigid foam sheets at short notice.

Silicone foam
Silicone foam, closed-cell, as sheets with skin on one side (skin on both sides on request), with skin on the outside and inside of hoses.

ZK / Cellular rubber
ZK is a closed-cell rubber compound made from EPDM, NBR, NR, CR, or another synthetic rubber grade.
Conventional cellular rubber is watertight and airtight. Its temperature and media resistance depends on the material used.
