Compliant with standards

General standards

Our seals are manufactured as standard in accordance with the standards specified by DIN (German Institute for Standardization) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization). These specifications mainly relate to dimensional tolerances and surface quality.

Customer standards

In addition, there are numerous customer-specific standards, for example in the automotive, aerospace, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, among others, which precisely define the requirements for the physical properties of materials.
Thanks to our decades of experience and our collaboration with almost all compound manufacturers, we are able to offer and process the right material for (almost) every customer standard required.

Special approvals

In many sensitive areas—e.g., food, gas applications, drinking water, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and many more—special requirements also apply, some of which vary from country to country. For example, materials that comply with the German DVGW W270 (regulations for the use of elastomers in drinking water applications) may not be used in the UK unless they are also approved according to WRAS (compliance with UK water regulation standards).
Here too, we can usually offer all seals made from materials approved for the relevant area of application.

Customs dimensions

The dimensions of O-rings and X-rings are specified in the AS568 and BS1806 standards. A serial number allows for clear identification.
